Planning documents on a desk

Advisory

The work, in six parts.

Wealth planning

Start with the household, not the market.

We assemble a living plan: income, spending, savings rate, insurance, and the dates that actually matter—tuition, a sale, retirement, a parent’s care. The document is useful only if it can be updated without drama.

Investment counsel

A portfolio should be boring in the right ways.

We build diversified allocations around your plan, tax lot, and liquidity needs. Trading is not a personality. Rebalancing, cost, and tax lot selection are. Alternatives are used sparingly, and only when they earn a place.

Retirement income

We sequence Social Security, pensions, required distributions, and portfolio withdrawals so the paycheck is durable in a poor market, not only a good one.

Tax-aware design

Account location, contribution strategy, charitable bunching, and realization timing—coordinated with your CPA, not invented in isolation.

Estate & legacy

Beneficiary reviews, titling, and a working relationship with estate counsel. The goal is fewer surprises for the people you leave behind.

Business transitions

Pre-liquidity planning, after-tax proceeds, concentrated stock, and the year after a sale—when the calendar suddenly has too much space in it.

Risk & protection

Insurance is reviewed as part of the plan: what you keep, what you drop, and what a claim would actually do to the household.

Family coordination

Meetings with adult children, trustees, or a second household when two generations need the same facts, stated once, without politics.

Engagements typically begin with a planning retainer and, where appropriate, ongoing investment advisory. We will tell you if we are not the right firm.
