Why we exist
Most households do not need more products. They need a place to think.
Rocha-Homem Financial Advisory is an independent, planning-led practice based in Lisbon. Money, in our view, should make a household more stable—not more complicated.
We are not a bank, a brokerage floor, or a product warehouse. We sit with clients, write plans, and implement only what the plan requires. When we do not have the answer, we say so and bring in counsel, tax, or legal partners.
How we think
A few principles we do not negotiate.
Fewer clients, better work.
Capacity is limited on purpose. Advice degrades when a practice becomes a volume business.
Plain language is a duty.
If we cannot explain a recommendation at the kitchen table, it does not belong in the file.
Time is the scarce asset.
We design for decades, then review in quarters. Noise is expensive. Patience is usually cheaper.

Clients who already know what they have built, and want it to last.
Typical relationships include professionals nearing a liquidity event, families coordinating two careers and aging parents, and owners who will one day leave a company they started.
We are a poor fit for traders, for anyone seeking a hot tip, or for households that want a website login instead of a person.
